No one can make you succeed. No one can make you enjoy your job, your projected future, or present reality. However, all of those things can be used to motivate you to make a change. When questions like, “Where do you see yourself in five years?” or “Are you satisfied with the current course of your life?” cause you to shutter or just shut down, it may be time for an intervention.

Motivation is a force – internal or external – that compels us to action in order to produce a new or better outcome. There are actually few people that can identify their current reality, chart a new course, and motivate themselves to stay on track. If you are that person, you have gift you could use to impact the lives of others and make a lot of money. If you are like the other 99% that require a little assistance from time, you are in good company.

So, take an inventory of where you are, where you are headed, and what your ultimate goal is. Do not do this in your mind, take the time to write it down. There is a dynamic that takes place in actually writing it down that is a real game changer. If you do not like what you see find a coach to motivate you to take action. A new life, a fresh perspective, and hope could be just one call or one email away.

Today, live!
